History repeats itself as MBBS department wins the Seals Cup 2025, after defeating Human Kinetics Department in a penalty shoot-out.
The first half of the match commenced with both teams dominating each other alternately. Though several tactical efforts were displayed by the MBBS , it was to no avail as their opponent, KHE's defence seemed a formidable rock with Bade, their defence player, nodding out the ball with his head. The first half ended in tie as no side succeeded in shaking the net.
With each side maintaining the momentum status quo, the second half kicked off. This time, KHE came with a full force as they skillfully gravitated towards their opponent. Despite a series of spicy attempts provided by the KHE, the MBBS goalkeeper remained unbudged.
The second half equally ended in a draw, and subsequently, the match extended into a penalty shoot-out. It was indeed a fierce skillful combat as players from the both sides converted the chances, though some occasionally missed their chances, eventually making the scores even.
However, the winner of the game would later be decided after all eleven players had taken their penalties. A costly miss by one of the KHE players, was capitalized on by MBBS who emerged eventual victors for the second consecutive time.
