ZIK LND INDUCTS NEW MEMBERS; HOLDS INTERFACTION DEBATE

The Nnamdi Azikiwe Hall Literary and Debating Society held her induction and interfaction debate competition on Saturday, 28th June 2025, at the Zik Hall Junior Common Room.

The program started at about 7:23pm with an oratory contest between the new inductees titled 'Whose turn is it?' with three participating members who were inducted into the Literary and Debating Society. 

The 2nd runner-up for the rookie oratory was Akolade Enoch Ayomikun, the first runner-up was Ajibade Muiz Olalekan, and the winner of the oratory contest, who is also the Zik LnD Rookie of the Year, 2025, is Adebukola Israel.

 The in-house debate was on the title "Should Religious Organizations Be Taxed?" between the House Caesar and House Cicero.

 The best speaker for the interfaction debate is Oladejo Segun, the first speaker from House Caesar, with 80.5%. House Cisero, however, won the debate with a total of 73.6% compared to 69.2% by House Caesar, as announced by the President, Oyedijo Olanrewaju.

The Hall Chairman, Sotomi Daniel, and Hall Secretary, Olayika Daniel, also attended the program, and it ended with a vote of thanks at 9:07pm by the Zik Hall Literary and Debating Society President, Oladijo Olanrewaju.
