Knocking on closed doors,
Peeping from opened windows,
Spilling words that steal our hearts
To bend our thumbs to their names,
At the podium, they vow to suture the scars,
Stretching their sleeves to clean our tears
Have you all buried it in the soil?
The years of inflation and turmoil?
Don’t let them fool us again!
They are liars!
Wingless, yet claim to fly us!
Bartimaeus, yet claim to lead us
Legal sons of delilah!
Ohhh, sons and daughters of sculptor
Carve out Regal seats for Lions,
Not for sheep that dart at mere cock crow!
Or slumber before moon falls.
Don’t let them fool Us again?
