Nnamdi Azikiwe Hall organised and presented its first edition of the ASA Event in Zik Hall Cafeteria on Sunday, 21st of September, 2025. Attended by a considerable number of students from different halls of residence, it resonated with the party tagline , "We are all Uites. That's what matters."
Attendees appeared in their best attire, sipped free drinks, danced to sweet lyrics and ate spicy suya, portraying Zik Hall's awareness of togetherness, culture and traditions. The event is said to have been organised to showcase UI cultures through Zik Hall, making it an instrumental culture agency.
In an interview with the social minister of the hall, he said that "there are some cultures that we didn't have any idea of until we came to the University of Ibadan. Zik Hall is also following that route, that is, being the custodian of cultures and traditions.
"I can say this is the best event so far ever since I came into this institution. Though the dressing of many of the attendees might be contradicting the event tag, it still remains a very exciting moment no one would afford to miss," proclaimed one of the attendees.
The event was also graced with the presence of some influential figures in the University of Ibadan. The Independence Hall Chairman appeared in the event in his gorgeous attire, and Casablanca, one of the popular content creators on campus, also added importance and value to the event with his presence.
After appreciating his co-executive members, the social minister made an assertion of the continuity of the event in subsequent administration, earmarking Zik Hall's commitment and sensitivity to vibes and unity. The Social Minister, during an interview, stated that "I give all thanks to my ever-energetic Hall Chair and ever-supportive executives for their immense contribution to the success of this event."
"And trust me, this is a legacy that the coming administration would not only continue but also refine, advance and take to the highest peak. Wait for ASA 2.0," added the Social Minister.
