Poem: Let Our Trees Breathe
TheLivingPen
Hew, hew ,hew
Trees groaned, birds flew,
As courier of air got beheaded
Not just a green
It kept our society's grin,
Neither a mere tree
it sustained our identity,
A heart of roses and flowers
Home of scholars,
Where ideas were weaved
where jaded faces were healed,
Let it breathe!
Sell it not, let it be!
