The Nnamdi Azikiwe hall health committee has organized the May edition of its monthly sanitation exercise today, Saturday, 31st May, 2025.
The sanitation exercise started at about 8:00 am in the morning with residents of the hall totalling about 41 converging on the basement of block B.
Focus areas of the sanitation exercise were the drainages in the front and behind C, B, and A blocks of the hall. These drainages were cleared of blockages to enable free passage of waste. The sanitation exercise also featured the picking and disposal of dirt littered across the hall.
The sanitation exercise was scheduled to include the washing of tanks in the hall, however this was postponed until the next sanitation exercise due to the unavailability of water in the hall.
“Though there were plans to also conduct the tank washing exercise, it has been postponed until the next sanitation exercise due to the unavailability of water in the hall.” The health minister said.
