UI'SU Announces Final Fee Payment and Course Registration Deadline

The University of Ibadan Students’ Union has announced a final one-week extension for the payment of school fees and completion of course registration for the 2024/2025 academic session. The new and final deadline has been set for Friday, June 27, 2025.

The extension comes as a result of engagement between the Students’ Union and the university management, offering thousands of students a lifeline amid ongoing academic and financial challenges.

“We understand the pressure students face, especially given the current economic situation. This extension is about ensuring that no student is left behind,” the release read in part.

The Union also confirmed that students who applied for the NELFUND Loan have now had their funds credited to their e-wallets, an outcome that follows collaboration with the Bursary Unit to resolve refund backlogs from previous sessions.

The Union stressed that no further extension or portal reopening will occur beyond June 27. Only students who complete their registration will be recognized as bona fide students eligible to sit for exams.

Students facing difficulties with registration or payments have been urged to visit their departmental executives, the ITeMS Office, or the NELFUND Support Office at NCC Digital Park along Tech Road for guidance.
