Zik Hall Legislative Council has on Tuesday, 6th of May, 2025 approved the sum of #120,300 for freshers week while a further #203,000 was approved for Nnamdi Azikiwe statue renovation.
A total sum of #126,400 was initially presented by the hall chairman for the freshers week activities. This amount was later reduced to #120,300. Honourable Maleek Agunbiade moved for the approval of this figure while Honourable Gbenro Oluwasegun supported it.
The hall chairman, Sotomi Daniel, speaking to the council while presenting the budget of the statue renovation stated that it is aimed at improving the appearance of the hall, while also showing to potential donors that the hall is also making efforts. The budget for the statue renovation was then approved as presented.
