We Spent ₦79,650 on the Freshers’ Week and ₦25,000 on Common Pot - Zik Hall’s Finance Minister

Accounting for the expenditure on the recent events organised by the Executive Council, Zik hall’s Finance Minister, Mr. Musliudeen Toheeb, popularly known as Dean, has spoken on the amount spent on the Freshers’ week and common pot.
On the 11th and 12th of November, the Executive Council held a number of events to commemorate the Fresher’s week including; medical checkup, freshers’ orientation, sports and gyration. While speaking with ZHPO, Mr. Musliudeen revealed that the amount spent in organising the Freshers’ week programme is ₦79,650.
Similarly, the Zik hall Minister for Finance told ZHPO that ₦25,000 was spent on the recent common pot event held in the hall. The common pot, which is the first for the semester and for Team Collectivity, was held on the 26th of November. The common pot is a tradition in Zik hall and involves the voluntary contribution of food stuff from Zikites.
According to him the amount was approved by the Hall Warden with the notice of the Legislative Council. “For the Freshers’ week and the common pot there is an approved amount by the Hall Warden and I think the house, the speaker and some other members are aware about the figures. The common pot was ₦25,000 while the Freshers’ week was ₦79,650.”
