Zik Hall Holds Tank-Washing and Hall Beautification Exercise

The Nnamdi Azikiwe Hall of residence in conjunction with the Rotaract Club, UI, partook in the regular tank washing exercise which took place on the morning Saturday, the 25th of March 2023.

With the official resumption of school activities after the end of the general elections that took center stage for the past month, the hall of residence is expected to be filled up in its numbers with many student expected to resume physically in the coming weeks. So it was no surprise that the Zik hall executive members announced the tank washing exercise in a bid to get the tanks clean for use for students upon resumption.

The hall executive members were joined by the Rotaract Club, UI, who came to lend a helping hand in the tank washing exercise. The exercise saw the washing of the A block tanks and the D block tanks. In a chat with the Health Minister, Nnamdi Azikiwe Hall, Osuji Johnpaul, he said the exercise was successful and also appreciated the Rotaract club for lending a helping hand to the cause.

In other activities of the day, the executive council in cooperation with the hall management embarked on the planting of flowers in strategic positions in the hall in the bid to in view of its beautification plans. With the expected return of students, it seems important that the hall facilities are being maintained and beautified for the benefit and convenience of the returning students.
